How to Use the IP Lookup Tool

Usage Guide
- Find your own IP: Simply click the "My IP" button. The tool will automatically detect your public IPv4/IPv6 address and display your current location and provider.
- Lookup an external IP: Type or paste any valid IPv4 or IPv6 address into the search bar and press Enter or click "Analyze".
- Analyze the Data: Review the deep scan to identify the ISP, ASN (Autonomous System Number), precise geographical metadata, and security flags like VPN or Tor usage.
- View on Map: Check the mini-map for approximate coordinates. Click the "Maps" link to open the exact pin in Google Maps.
How accurate is IP Geolocation?
IP geolocation maps an IP address to the physical location of the internet service provider's servers. While country and region data are usually highly accurate (95-99%), city-level data or specific coordinates represent the ISP's routing hub, not the exact physical address of the user.
What is Security Intel?
The tool cross-references the IP against known databases to determine if it belongs to a VPN provider, the Tor anonymity network, or a datacenter/cloud hosting provider (like AWS or DigitalOcean) rather than a standard residential internet connection.
