How to Use the Link Analyzer
A powerful tool to audit the internal and external link structure of any webpage for SEO.
Audit Guide
- Choose Input Method: Enter a live URL to automatically fetch its HTML, or paste raw HTML code directly.
- Review Metrics: Check the summary cards to see your ratio of internal to external links, and ensure you aren't bleeding link equity via excessive DoFollow external links.
- Filter & Search: Use the table tools to isolate specific types of links. Look for empty anchor texts or missing titles which hurt accessibility and SEO.
- Export Data: Click "Export CSV" to download the full dataset for advanced analysis in Excel or Google Sheets.
Why audit links?
Links are the connective tissue of the web. Search engines like Google use links to discover new pages and determine page authority. A healthy page should have strong internal links to related content, and only link externally to high-quality, relevant sources.
What is NoFollow?
The rel="nofollow" attribute tells search engines not to pass authority (PageRank) to the linked webpage. It is standard practice to use NoFollow for sponsored links, advertisements, or untrusted user-generated content.
