Is a digital signature legally binding?
In many jurisdictions, an electronic signature (which includes drawing your signature on a screen and pasting the image onto a contract) carries the same legal weight as a handwritten one. However, always consult local laws for specific contract requirements.
Why is the line thickness different on my phone?
The digital pen is designed to scale proportionally with the resolution of the canvas. If you find the line too thin on a smaller screen, simply use the Pen Thickness slider to increase the brush weight.
Can I save it as a JPEG instead?
Currently, the tool exports strictly as a PNG. PNG is vastly superior for signatures because it supports transparent backgrounds, which JPEG does not.
