What is an XML Sitemap?
An XML sitemap is a file that lists a website's essential pages, making sure Google and other search engines can find and crawl them all. It helps search engines understand your website structure and discover new content.
Do I need priority and changefreq?
While optional, they are helpful. Priority (0.0 to 1.0) tells search engines which pages you consider most important relative to other pages on your site. Change Frequency hints at how often the content is expected to change.
